Linguacentre was established in 1992. Our teachers are native English speakers who take pride in the quality of their lessons.

Linguacentre will prepare you for your exams, teach you to understand, speak, read and write the language to the level you require.

Linguacentre courses are available on a full-time and part-time basis all year round for adults (minimum age 17) and for groups of 10 or more teenage/junior students (minimum age 11). The maximum number of students in a class is 16; the average class size is 8. Adults and juniors are taught in separate classes.

An eclectic approach

Our teachers are not bound by a prescriptive syllabus and are therefore able to utilise a wide range of teaching approaches - old and new. Our teachers select the most effective teaching materials for you.

A practical approach

What we teach and how we teach it is determined by how useful it will be to you. We do not teach in a sterile, theoretical way but more through practical approach.

A communicative approach

Grammar is taught with an emphasis on meaning, and not as an end in itself. We appreciate that you need to be able to use the language, not merely to understand how it works. Grammar is taught with a view to passing examinations as well as a means to successful communication.
