What happens if I am refused permission to enter the United Kingdom?
You could be entitled to a partial refund if you informed us at least two weeks before the day that your course is scheduled to start. Click <<here>> for more information.

How much do I have to pay for course materials?
You may have to buy books and other materials for your course. Each book costs around 20 GB Pounds and you will need at least one book per term of twelve weeks.

Should I arrange insurance cover?
Yes. This is compulsory for anyone under the age of seventeen and optional but recommended for all others. See Personal Insurance for more information. Click <<here>> for current prices/rates.

Can I pay in installments?
Yes. You can pay for your tuition in installments if your course is longer than twelve weeks. Fees for courses lasting twelve weeks or less must be paid for in full with your application. The minimum acceptable payment for a course lasting more than twelve weeks is the appropriate fee for a twelve-week course. You can pay for your accommodation in installments if your chosen length of stay is more than four weeks. Accommodation for less than five weeks must be paid for in full with your application. The minimum acceptable payment for accommodation for more than four weeks is the fee for a four-week stay. Outstanding balances must be paid in equal amounts over the first three months of the course or four weeks before the end of the course whichever is earlier.

What happens if I am unable to pay the outstanding balance on time?
Tell someone at the office immediately. If you do not pay on time and you do not tell someone at the office then you will have to pay additional charges. You may avoid these additional charges if you talk to someone at the office before the payment due date.

What English examination will I need to go to a university?
You will need to take the University of Cambridge Certificate in Advanced English (CAE), the Certificate of Proficiency in English (CPE) or the International English Language Testing System (IELTS) and obtain the grade recommended by your chosen universities in the United Kingdom.

How do I get to the school?
London is served by a vast network of public transport - buses, trains, tubes.

Directions from Mill Hill Broadway Station:

On foot
- On leaving the station/bus terminal turn left onto The Broadway. At the roundabout turn right onto Hale Lane. Walk along Hale Lane and Grenville Place is the fifth turning on your left. Trafalgar House is the office block on your right. (Note:- This walk takes about ten minutes. If you get to another roundabout on Hale Lane you have passed Grenville Place).
By bus - Look for the bus stop with the letter D at the top. Get on either a number 221, 240 or 972 towards Edgware and ask the driver to tell you when you have reached Hale Drive or Downhurst Avenue. On leaving the bus walk in the same direction for about two minutes. Grenville Place is the road after Downhurst Avenue. Trafalgar House is the office block on your right.

Directions from Edgware Station:
On foot
- On leaving the station/bus terminal turn right onto Hale Lane. Follow the road ahead at the first roundabout (exit 2) and ahead at the next roundabout (exit 2). At the third roundabout cross over at the pedestrian crossing then turn left towards the next pedestrian crossing, cross over and walk towards the next roundabout. Turn right at this roundabout and Grenville Place is the first turning on the right. Trafalgar House is the office block on your right. This walk takes about fifteen minutes.
By bus - Look for the boarding gate labelled E. Get on either a number 221, 240, 292 or 305 towards Mill Hill Broadway and ask the driver to tell you when you have reached Hale Drive or Downhurst Avenue. Walk back in the direction from which the bus travelled and Grenville Place is about two minutes away on your left. Trafalgar House is the office block on your right.
