ACCOMMODATION

LINGUACENTRE offers carefully selected welcoming homestay accommodation on a bed and breakfast, * half-board or ** full-board basis, within easy reach of the school. All homestays are inspected and approved by our Accommodation officer.

To book accommodation you must fill in the accommodation section on the Enrolment Form.

Accommodation is available in single or twin-bedded rooms. Accommodation includes room and board as indicated. Personal Insurance is not included.

We regret that bookings cannot be accepted for a single student at the individual rate for a twin room. Where two persons share a room the rate charged is for two individuals.

We can also help you to find hotel accommodation on request.

ABOUT YOUR ACCOMMODATION

Entering and Leaving
In general you may enter and leave the homestay at reasonable times, provided the rest of the household are not unduly disturbed. If you will not be back for your meal at the agreed time, or if you will be home late for any reason you must tell your host/s. Do remember that they will worry if they do not know where you are.

Meals
Your host will prepare your meals. You should not help yourself to food without their permission. Meals will be shared with the host/s at an agreed time. If it is not possible to have meals at the agreed time then tell your host/s as early as possible. If you are on the LLE (holiday/vacation course), LINGUACENTRE will provide your host/s with a programme/timetable of activities.

Type of accommodation
Bed and Breakfast accommodation includes room and breakfast.
* Half Board accommodation includes room, breakfast and an evening meal.
** Full Board accommodation includes room, breakfast, a packed lunch and an evening meal.

Security
Your host will tell you what you need to do when you are going out. In general, you must close and lock the front door and all windows if there is no one else at home when you leave.
